YOUR FIRST GAME

Take your first turn.

For a relaxed start, choose Solo and pocket balls in any order. Against the computer, aim at the rack, adjust power and press Shoot. Releasing a cue drag keeps the setting; it does not shoot.

THE BASICS

Pool rules at our tables

01

Clear your group, then the eight

After groups are assigned, pocket your solids or stripes before legally pocketing the eight. An early eight or an eight with a foul loses. These tables do not use called shots.

02

Break and choose a group

On the break, pocket a ball or send four object balls to cushions. Groups remain open after the break. The first legally pocketed ball afterward establishes solids or stripes; an eight on the break is re-spotted.

03

Watch for fouls

Wrong first contact, a scratch, no contact, or failing to reach a cushion or pocket after contact can be a foul. A normal-shot foul gives the opponent ball in hand. Break fouls restrict placement behind the head line.

04

Solo is a warm-up

Solo lets you pocket any ball, place the cue ball between shots and reset the rack. Computer matches use the eight-ball rules. Neither practice mode affects ratings.

All levels are free without an account. Practice stays in this tab; refreshing or leaving starts over. It does not change ratings or match history.

Easy makes simpler choices. Medium and Hard consider more options. These levels are not certified ratings.
